The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) today confirmed that it will be holding its Annual Conference at The Houses of Parliament on Wednesday 30th January 2019.

The organisation, which celebrates its 13th year since launch in 2019, hinted that this Conference will be “extraordinary”, as it plans to make a very special announcement, which will be broadcasted across its social media channels.

CEO Damian Walters (pictured), one of three original founders of the government sanctioned institute in 2006 said: “Suppliers, distributors, manufacturers and retailers continually innovate with a fast-changing portfolio of stunning customer proposition. But installation has quite simply failed to keep up with this innovation.”

Damian added: “There have been singular defining moments that have changed the face of other industries, most of which have been driven by technology. Our announcement in January, which has been the culmination of 5 years’ work, has the potential to be a game changer here in the United Kingdom, answering many of the challenges that our industry faces relating to installation”.

Over 100 senior delegates from across the industry have confirmed attendance to this special event, which will be hosted by BiKBBI Patron and Member of Parliament Stephen Metcalfe.

Damian concludes: “Our announcement will not disappoint. Our journey has had a number of ups and downs, but I am more than confident that this will elevate our profile and demonstrate our forward thinking. It’s not quite a Mars landing, but I believe our announcement is as pioneering in our world!”.
