Independent bathroom retailer BetterBathrooms, have today collapsed into administration as a direct result of a cashflow crisis according to sources.
The bath, tiles and decorating chain today closed 13 showrooms and two trade counters across the UK, affecting over 350 members of staff who were today made redundant, as well as an unknown number of customers who’s deposits remain with the failing company.
FRP Advisory was appointed as joint administrators today. Joint administrator Phil Pierce said the company “suffered from severe cashflow difficulties and an extended period of soft trading”.
Mr Pierce said they would be working with affected staff to support their claims through the Redundancy Payments service.
