Following the launch of The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) Protected initiative at The Houses of Parliament in January, the organisation is pleased to confirm that it is ready to accept expressions of interest from those retailers wanting to find out more.
BiKBBI plans a number of regional events to present the scheme to interested parties, following encouraging initial interest shown by the industry.
Communications Manager Nicole Mercer (pictured) confirmed that the organisation had received interest from 267 independent retailers, 4 regional retailers and 3 nationals, saying: “It’s a great start to the Protected initiative”.
BiKBBI Protected is a new and innovative platform that connects consumers and installers via the retailer, reducing cost and risk to all stakeholders. The scheme is underpinned by ESCROW powered payment protection, insurance backed warranties and leading compliance management.
CEO Damian Walters added: “A great start, but more to do. This is a revolutionary product for our market and one that has received significant interest. We know it won’t fit all retail models for various reasons, but it is a great option for those retailers who want to offer their customers a robust installation solution, but without the risk, cost and complication usually associated with it.”
Damian went on to say: “Any retailer or installer wanting to find out more is encouraged to visit our website for more information and to register their interest online.”
