The BiKBBI Education Committee met again this week, as the organisation edged closer to the launch of its Academy, planned for September this year.

Delegates from a number of high profile retailers, including B&Q, Bathstore, John Lewis, Wickes and representatives from Moores, Care in Bathing, NICEIC and the Gas Safe Register, met at PROCAT on Wednesday to finalise the curriculum for the first wave of Apprentices later this year.

The new style Level 2 Apprenticeship in Fitted Interiors will is the first specifically designed for KBB installation to be delivered at the new centre in the South East. PROCAT (Prospects College of Advanced Technology) will become the country’s first BiKBBI Apprenticeship Centre.
