Following the launch of their Apprenticeship scheme and ambitious plans to expand the programme nationally, The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) confirmed the appointment of a familiar industry face to head its Apprenticeship programme.

Michael Burke, a highly experienced Retail Installation Manager and education champion, joined BiKBBI this week and will be responsible for the development and national roll out of the Apprenticeship scheme.

BiKBBI Education Officer, Stephanie Gray, commented on the appointment: “We have been incredibly pleased with the progress of our year one Apprenticeship programme and we are now ready to formulate a national roll out strategy. We see Michael, together with his vast experience within this industry, as being an important ingredient to this initiative. Michael brings a plethora of experience and importantly key contacts and as such we are looking forward to working with him on this incredibly important programme.”

Michael added: “ I’ve been in admiration of what BiKBBI is achieving in the field of education and I am delighted to now have the opportunity to be part of this incredibly important initiative as well as working with one or two familiar faces myself.”
