The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) today announced the appointment of a second regional Brand Ambassador, following a comprehensive recruitment process. Alan Grant (pictured) will represent the government sanctioned organisation in the South West Region, which is the second of three planned appointments.
An experienced installation expert, Alan owns his own business in Plymouth, and is a current Installation Partner with IKEA. Additionally, Alan has both electrical & gas qualifications as well as a recently earned Business Management Degree. Furthermore, he has been working with BiKBBI for a number of years as an independent inspector.
BiKBBI Communication Manager Nicole Mercer said: “We are delighted and incredibly proud about our latest appointment. Alan brings over 22 years of KBB experience to the team and is passionate about sharing and supporting the core pillars of the institute, in particular professional standards and education.”
Commenting on the his appointment, Alan said: “As an existing inspector for the organisation, I have witnessed unprecedented growth and the subsequent positive effect BiKBBI is having within the industry. I’m incredibly honoured to be playing an important role at The Institute.”
Alan went on to say: “The industry has been good to me over the last 20 years and this is a great opportunity for me to give something back and support the only organisation dedicated specifically to KBB installation here in the United Kingdom. It’s a unique opportunity to do something special, which is exactly what I plan to do.”
