The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation is saddened to learn that former Charlton Athletic Women’s goalkeeper Jordan Dawes, who was diagnosed with liver cancer in November after suffering a stroke, has died aged 18.

“We are heartbroken beyond heartbroken,” a family statement said.

“She had so much life to live. Never stop loving and hugging your beautiful children as it’s a cruel world out there.”

BiKBBI CEO, who met Jordan in January at Charlton’s recent home game against Manchester United, said: “It’s a sad day for women’s football and the wider football community. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jordan’s friends and family.
