The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation is delighted to announce that much loved British ski jumping legend Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards will be special guest at the forthcoming BiKBBI Annual Awards on the 1st February.
Eddie first represented Great Britain at the 1987 World Championships and was ranked 55th in the world. This performance qualified him, as the sole British applicant, for the 1988 Winter Olympics. At that time, he was the British ski jumping record holder despite finishing last in the 70m and 90m events. Eddie has since become famous for personifying the Olympic spirit and for his determination to represent his country without any form of funding.
BiKBBI Director of Marketing & Communications, Michelle Daniels, commented on the announcement by saying: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be welcoming Eddie to the first ever awards dedicated to kbb installation. Eddie know’s a bit about being the underdog, being triumphant through adversity and how to achieve amazing things without big budgets… the synergies are overwhelming; a good reason why Eddie was our choice to be our very special guest at the awards”.
Limited tickets are available for the historic event on Tuesday 1st February – these are available online by clicking here.
