Guidance to help employers, employees and the self-employed understand how to work safely during the coronavirus pandemic.

The government, in consultation with industry, has produced guidance to help ensure workplaces are as safe as possible.

In their publication (11/5/20), BEIS have outlined five steps to working safely:

  1. Carry out a COVID-19 Risk Assessment;
  2. Follow cleaning and hygeine rules;
  3. Help people work from home;
  4. Stay 2m apart where possible;
  5. If 2m cannot be achieved, take steps to manage risk.

Government have produced Risk Assessment guides to assist a safe return to work. These 5 guides cover a range of different types of work that are most relevant to the KBB industry, although the full list of 8 can be found at the .gov website at the foot of this article.
